Analys of Carl Rogers's thinking about therapeutic process: conceptual research

We aim to analyze the Carl Rogers' thinking about the therapeutic process, according to the theoretical-conceptual research method in Psychology. We present the Rogers' arguments and descriptions of the therapeutic process in psychological counseling, client-centered therapy and encounter groups. We synthesize some interpretations related the: Rogers' no-theoretical insistence to present the therapeutic process; existence of conceptual adjacencies to deepen this; central elements that developed the process in each intervention proposal; logic that orders the processes described; emphasis on which they are presented; spatial, numerical and temporal subtleties that distinguish the group process from the counseling and psychotherapy processes. We conclude that the non-directivity thesis constituted all these works, with indirect theoretical additions.
